Wanted List offers two services; a NetFlix type option for online DVD rentals and / or a video on demand service to view top studio DVDs online. Since there beginnings in 1999, they now have a collection of over 20,000 DVDs and more than 3,800 VODs available.

To participate in the DVD rental service, you simply create a membership, selecting from one of several packages. The packages are based on the number of DVDs you wish to have checked out at a time (2, 3, 4, 6 or 8). You then can browse the library, searching by several criteria and drop them into a queue to check out later, or simply select to check out the movie immediately. The movie(s) are then shipped to you with a postage-paid envelope. Once you are done, you drop them in a mailbox, and when they are received by Wanted List, you can select to ship out the next batch. You can keep the movies as long as you wish. This service is currently available only in the United States (with the exception of Alabama, Tennessee and a few miscellaneous zips).

The VOD area of the site offers a great and quick streaming option of over 3,800 titles. When you access the VOD area, you are presented with the most popular titles, the latest titles and the most popular pornstars. You can also sort by studio, genre or search. When you locate the movie you want, there are three streaming options; high definition, medium and dial-up. The streaming on all three formats was extremely quick to queue up with very little buffering. The high def isn’t HDTV quality high-def, but still looks pretty good at full screen. Most movies provide thumbnails of the scenes, which gives you a general idea as to where you can snap the timeline to in order to view a preferred scene.

Wanted List won the AVN best rental site for the past 3 years and they certainly provide a great service when it comes to online DVD adult rentals. The DVDs are all from top studios (Evil Angel, Red Light District, 21st Sextury and 3rd World Media to name a few). The VOD area is well put together with a simple yet quick player. The VOD area adds about 15 new movies per day, to add on to the already impressive library. Whether you prefer to watch movies sitting at your computer, or DVDs on your home theater, Wanted List provides.
